What structures prevent you from looking at yourself?
(2020)
Based on historical and political processes, a way of thinking has been created in Western culture that privileges certain groups and cultures over others. In this way, models are placed on the way of being and producing, based on hierarchies. On the one hand, those who do not fit into it are subordinated. This is how, in a structural way, patterns are crossed in history that imprison some existences. They lock them up, and sometimes prevent them from looking at themselves and recognizing themselves.
Here, the frame and paspatur appear as a representation of such structures that surround some existences.
